Premonition Films

As we flash back further into the Premonition vault we come to the last movie of the Dirty Trilogy which consists of “Dirty Old Men” “Dirty Movie” and “Curse of the Dirty Lens”. We decided to finish the trilogy with Curse of the Dirty Lens after a season full of follow cams with snow splattered lenses and just about every other kind of bad luck including Chief’s Accident leading to his leg amputation at the start of the season. It was a rough one, but it signaled a change in guard as much of the younger generation was stepping up. It was a time where many of the experienced riders began to find different paths in life, but one thing will never change, the fact that most of us can’t wait to strap that board on season after season!

This one was one of my favorites to produce, it was such a fun year! It was our first venture teaming up with Northern Alliance to showcase their team of amazing riders. Starring Mt. Hood’s finest shred squad consisting of Corey Noble, Johnnie Paxson, Matt Guess and many others! Filmed all over the west from Mt. Baker to Utah and many places in between!

With all the great technology at hand (iphone) these days I’ve spent some time learning about better and easier ways to bring you all our content. On the new and improved www.premonitionfilms.com I’ve added a blog so we can post photo/video updates of our travels much easier. These will also be posted on our Facebook Page and on Twitter

I’ve been digging through the archives while putting up this site and I’ve decided to release all the old movies we’ve made over the years, starting with “Hood Rich” to celebrate an early opening at Timberline today. Then every weekend for the next month we will bring you a full length old flick to watch and download including “Riders of the Lost Park”, “Curse of the Dirty Lens”, “Dirty Old Men” all the way back to “Traveling Tortillas” our first DVD! So here is “Hood Rich” it was our 2007 snowboarding project with Northern Alliance Snowboard Shop. A short parody intro, themed around the life of the “baller” pro snowboarders. Starring some of Mt. Hood’s finest shredders Corey Noble, Johnnie Paxson, Matt Guess and many others!

We are working with Snow Hunnys to bring you the first women’s only snowmobile video set to release in Fall of 2010. Starring Delene Dippel and Raysha Gladfelder giving you a little taste of what these girls have in store for this season!
