Here is a project I had the honor of working with Peter Alport on the Mt. Hood Skibowl side of the shoot. Fun day hanging and filming with the homie Johnnie Paxson and some new skier friends!
It’s been a pretty slow season in terms of fresh powder in the NW. I’ve got lucky on a couple trips but it’s felt like spring most of the winter. Here is a remix of my early season rides up at St. Helens hoping for a couple more before summer comes!
Today begins the fan voting on Snowboard Magazine’s Ticket to Tailgate AK contest. We need all your votes in Like form on our Facebook page, also click the little heart on the Vimeo page as well, the more likes the better! This video was shot on the Camtrol Sniper 1080KS, Trol 4″ and Prime 22 using Panasonic Lumix GH2, TM-700 and GoPro Hero3. Ryan and I really have been dreaming about to going to Alaska so your help is great appreciated!
A couple days of sledding and a bit of Shredding from early season at St. Helens. It’s been a slow month and half for snow, decided to drop some footage in hopes that we will get lots more this spring. Fun couple sessions the snow was a bit wind blown for snowboarding but we still played around a bit, but as you can see it was super fun for the sleds!
Premonition Films is excited to partner up with Adam Fleck to bring you this episode of “Out There”. It is a another project I’ve started working on with some of my best friends from the Mt. Hood area. I am excited to work with Pro Shredders Colin Langlois, Ryan Stephens, and Corey Noble they have been long time friends but have spent much of the last couple years on the road so it is awesome to have them around and motivated to DO WORK!
Well I have so much footage from out last couple rides that it took me a couple nights just to get through transcoding! Still working on the edit so I decided to take a minute to edit up a bit of B-Roll to not let it go to waist. This was our first trip to St. Helens and it was super deep but also flat light! We made some attempts to get up higher but it was impossible to read the terrain so we headed for the trees and found some fun pillow poppers!

Sandpeople B-Sides Vol.2
It’s been a slow start to the season for us in the NW, I sat patiently as people ran out to core shot their boards on the first few coatings of powder. Finally a flurry of storms right before the holidays laid down a good snowpack, it was finally game on. This was my first day back on my board I saw it lining up about a week ahead so I packed up the wife and kid and went north to Bellingham to see some friends then headed up to Glacier to wait for the storm to hit Mt. Baker. The first attempt after a 15″ overnight snowfall was thwarted by a flat tire which ended up working in our favor cause chair 6 never opened that day. After fixing the tire we headed up the hill after another 10″ fell overnight waited out chair 6 and got one of the deepest runs of my life! Turns out it dumped 5 feet total in that storm and it was basically untouched on chair 6! I was bringing down sluffs everywhere I went and you could barley ollie it was so deep! Needless to say amazing first day back on the board plus got some amazing footage in the whiteroom with my GoPro and Camtrol Sniper 1080 KS!
